Learn what RPG has been defined as from its beginnings before you start trying to re-define it to suit your opinions or matters of taste. All those things you mentioned are for the brain dead "gamers" that don't know how to use imagination and immersion to have fun, so devs have to give you tools so that you can pretend you know how to role play. have less to do with a true RPG experience than actually getting into what you're doing and trying to live the character you're playing.
